I'm a software engineer by trade and a builder by instinct. I've spent over a decade working on web systems at scale, mostly trying to make complex things feel simple and humane.

I care deeply about clarity in code, in writing, and in leadership. I believe good software should be boring, understandable, and dependable. Flash fades. Fundamentals endure.

I'm originally from Uganda and now live in Sweden with my wife and our children. That distance, geographic and cultural has shaped how I think about identity, responsibility, and building for people who are often overlooked.

This site is a place for long-form thinking. Most times I write about building scalable software. Occasionally about family, and the long game.
